One thing is for sure, RPG-XML Suite is seriously making me look good in front of my client.  Whipping out web services or processing and generating xml files is a breeze!!  The xml files are flying out left and right.

I had one meeting with an outside company, for this client, where they were asking for data in different file formats.  They listed off a whole bunch of different formats and I kept telling them no problem.  Finally the big shot technical guy said they preferred XML, at which point I responding - "even better for me."  They just looked at me…Probably thought I would not know what XML was or something.   My part lasted another 10 minutes, during which I was designing the layout in my head.  I got up to leave and asked how long they would be there.  The hot shot technical guy said - "probably another 30 minutes", at which I responded "Ok, give me 20 minutes and you can leave with a sample file."  They again just looked at me and all started laughing while tapping their watches (my client here is used to me saying things like that but they are not I guess).  Eighteen minutes later I tapped on the door and handed them the file with a "and two minutes to spare"!  This time it was my client that started laughing and said - "I told you so but you would not believe it."  I thanked them for their time and walked out with another little victory punch in the sky for your product.  The look on their faces was priceless.

RPG-XML Suite is an excellent tool. I first came across the tool when working on an application for a customer that runs several hundred web service transactions each day. I was using an open source tool originally and ran into some major problems with reliability at peak times. I went looking for a commercial package and installed the trial. Installation was complete in minutes, and the tool plugged in very easily to my application. Immediately, my problems were solved. RPG-XML Suite had all of the features I needed and always performed reliably - even at peak times. I immediately recommended it to my customer and they have not had a failed transaction since.
